For Families | Thrive Families

Using evidence based and informed programs and approaches, Thrive Families will tailor a program specific to your child’s and family’s needs to:

· Learn about your child’s emotional world by learning to read and understand their emotional needs

· Understand how to support your child to successfully manage their emotions

· Build a secure relationship between you, your child, and others

· Recognise how to help your child feel secure in their relationships

· Discover how to help your child to engage more in play and learning

· Be aware of how to manage your thoughts and feelings

· Encourage connection within your community

Thrive Families provides services to families and carers in the Perth metropolitan area and regional and remote areas in WA. Regional and remote services may be a combination of face to face and telehealth provision.

About Me

Hi, I’m Narelle, Director and Senior Consultant at Thrive Families. I am the mother of three young adults and have more than 30 years’ experience working with children and families. I am interested in getting to know more about you, your family and how I can walk along side you to develop the knowledge and skills you need to be a ‘good enough’* parent. Sometimes it is already there, you just need me to shine a spotlight on it, and other times I may challenge you to think and respond differently. Don’t worry, it is always done in a warm and supportive environment with lots of opportunity for exploration, reinforcement and mistakes.

I especially enjoy working with families who have a child with a disability or parents who have a disability and I am very dad, carer and grandparent friendly.
